Capital Transcription provides audio transcription services (for e.g. transcribing focus groups, interviews, medical letters and reports, speeches, hui, meetings, seminars, conferences) and general typing services (for e.g. typing up book drafts, letters, essays, memoirs, diaries, lecture notes, theses).
As regards our audio transcription services, we transcribe from all the common digital transcription formats: DSS, WAV, MP3 and WMA, and as we utilise the latest file conversion software, transcription from most of the lesser known audio formats is also possible. We also utilise file conversion software to convert DVD to audio and thus offer a full DVD transcription service.
Once we have received your sound file(s) or hard copy document(s) for transcription, we will transcribe it into a Word document, other standard Microsoft Office document, NVivo-ready template, or client-supplied template - whatever you require. From there the completed transcript is emailed to you, uploaded to your web server or copied back to your flashdrive/CD and posted back.
Please note that we no longer provide audio transcription services from tapes and are a digital transcription only service.
